Geology for Global Development (GfGD) is a registered charity (1165663) existing to champion the role of geology in sustainable development, mobilising and reshaping the geology community to help deliver the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Based in the United Kingdom, we organise conferences and training, support international projects working to achieve the SDGs, and advocate for the importance of Earth science at local, national and international forums. Launched in 2017, our strategy articulates the range of work we are involved in. You can also read more about our work and financial activities in our Annual Reports.
