Geology for Global Development
 is a registered charity (1165663), working to equip and mobilise geologists to engage in international development, and support the delivery of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

We believe that our work can help to reshape the geology community, building a sector equipped to serve communities around the world. We’d love your support. If our vision, strategy and work excite you then please consider supporting us.
  • One-Off (Single) Donations. You can use our BT MyDonate page to make a one-off (single) donation to support our work.
  • Regular (Monthly) Giving. Our BT MyDonate page can also be used to arrange regular (monthly) giving to support our work. If we can recruit 25 people to donate £10/month, we can raise £3000 in a year to help deliver our strategy.
  • Fundraising. If you'd like to run, swim, climb, sing, or run any other type of activity to generate funds for our work, you can use this helpful BT MyDonate tool to promote the event and collect donations. You can also search for existing projects, and give your support to them.
  • Corporate Sponsorship. We are actively seeking sponsorship for our conferences and charitable activities, with the proceeds used to assist with the running costs and expansion of Geology for Global Development. **New Opportunity** - GfGD Strategy Implementation Fund

In June 2017, we launched a 5-year strategy aiming to support the delivery of the UN Sustainable Development GoalsOur new strategy has four objectives:
(1) Promote the value of geology in supporting sustainable development.
(2) Equip geologists to engage positively in sustainable development.
(3) Enhance the application of geology to international development.
(4) Exercise international leadership on matters relating to geology and sustainable development.
